1. Introduction
Welcome to Sketch Anime AR: Draw & Trace ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it on your Android device.
We are an individual independent developer based in Pakistan. We have built this App with a strong commitment to user privacy. The core principle of our App is simple: your data stays on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information to any server.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
We want to be completely transparent: Sketch Anime AR: Draw & Trace does NOT collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
Your name, email address, or phone number
Your location or GPS data
Your photos, camera images, or video recordings
Your drawings or artwork created in the App
Device identifiers (collected only by third-party SDKs as described in Section 4)
Payment or financial information
Any account credentials (the App has no login/account system)
There are no user accounts, no registration, and no login required to use this App. We do not maintain any database of user information.
3. Device Permissions & How We Use Them
The App requests only the minimum permissions necessary to function. All data accessed via these permissions is processed exclusively on your device and is never sent to us or any server by us.
3.1 Camera Permission
The App requires access to your device camera to power its core Augmented Reality (AR) feature. The camera projects anime-style drawing templates onto your physical paper in real time, so you can trace and practice drawing.
Important clarifications about camera use:
The camera feed is processed in real time, entirely on your device.
We do NOT capture, save, record, or upload any video or photos from your camera.
No camera data ever leaves your device.
Camera access is only active when you are using the AR drawing feature.
You can revoke camera permission anytime in your Android Settings, though AR features will be disabled.
3.2 Storage / Gallery Permission
The App requests access to your device storage and photo gallery so you can select your own reference images or photos to use as tracing templates inside the App.
Important clarifications about storage access:
Images you select are loaded and displayed locally on your device only.
We do NOT copy, upload, or transmit any images from your gallery to any server.
Your personal photos remain completely private on your device.
You can revoke storage permission anytime in your Android Settings.
3.3 Drawing Save / Export
When you save or export a drawing, the file is written directly to your device's local storage. This data never leaves your device through our App. We do not have access to your saved drawings.
4. Third-Party Services
While we do not collect any data ourselves, the App integrates one third-party service for monetization. This service operates independently under its own privacy policy and may collect limited, non-personally identifiable technical data.
4.1 Google AdMob (Advertisements)
We use Google AdMob, provided by Google LLC, to display advertisements in the App. This is the only third-party service integrated into our App. AdMob may automatically collect:
Advertising ID (Google Advertising ID / GAID) — a resettable, anonymous identifier
Device type, model, and Android OS version
Approximate location based on IP address (country/region level only)
Ad interaction data such as ad views and clicks
Basic app usage signals for ad relevance
This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. We do not receive or store any of this information.

We do NOT use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or any other analytics or tracking service. No usage data, crash reports, or session data is collected from your device by us.
5. How Information Is Used
Since we do not collect personal data, our use of information is very limited:
Camera permission is used solely to project AR anime templates for drawing assistance.
Gallery/storage permission is used solely to let you import personal reference images for tracing.
Save/export functionality writes your drawings to your device’s own local storage.
Google AdMob serves advertisements to support the free availability of the App.
We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose any user data for any commercial or non-commercial purpose.
6. Children’s Privacy
Sketch Anime AR: Draw & Trace is suitable for users of all ages, including children. Because we do not collect any personal data from any user, the App is inherently safe for children.
We do not collect personal information from children under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 (GDPR).
The App has no chat, social, or content-sharing features.
There is no account registration or user profile of any kind.
Ads served by Google AdMob are subject to Google’s Families Policy for apps used by children.
Parents and guardians can feel confident that their child’s use of this App does not result in any personal data being collected or shared by us.
7. Data Security
Because all sensitive data (camera feed, gallery images, saved drawings) stays entirely on your device and is never transmitted by us, the privacy risk is minimal by architectural design.
For data handled by Google AdMob, we rely on Google’s industry-standard security infrastructure. However, no digital system is 100% immune to security risks, and we cannot make absolute guarantees about data held by third parties.
8. Data Retention
We do not retain any user data on any server because we do not collect any. Your drawings and any imported images remain on your device under your full control and can be deleted at any time by you.
Data collected by Google AdMob is retained according to Google’s own retention policies, which you can review at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
09. Third-Party Links
Advertisements displayed by Google AdMob may contain links to external websites or apps. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party destinations. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies before interacting.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make changes, we will:
Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
Post the updated policy on the App’s Google Play Store listing page.
Notify users via an in-app notice for any significant changes.
Your continued use of the App after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
